Animal Welfare League’s Pets Of The Week
Press Release
PIERCETON — Pets of the Week are available for adoption at the Animal Welfare League, located at 1048 S. CR 325E, Pierceton.
Daisey
Just like the way her name is spelled, Daisey the dog is a unique and special girl. Daisey is a one-year-old, spayed, female Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. She has a spotted brown coat with one blue eye and one brown eye. She weighs approximately 50 pounds. She watches the world with an adorable sense of wonder and can be quite curious. Daisey can be a little shy at times and needs a moment to feel comfortable when meeting new friends. She does well with other dogs and would love to be adopted into a home with a canine sibling. Daisey loves to go for walks and enjoys sunshine and fresh air. If you have young children, she would like to meet them and maybe play outside. Call to make an appointment to visit Daisey today.
Daisey’s adoption fee is $130.
Piper
Is that a tiny fluffy cow? No, it’s Piper the cat. Piper is a two-year-old, neutered, male Domestic Long Hair mix. He has a black and white patched coat with bright green eyes and weighs eight pounds. Piper is a sweet and affectionate boy who would make a “purrfect” lap cat. He would prefer a quiet home as loud noises startle him into hiding. He does well with other cats and wouldn’t mind a laid-back cat friend. Mostly, Piper just wants to be cuddled and loved. Call to make an appointment to meet Piper today. He’d love it if you brushed and styled his fur.
Piper’s adoption fee is $70.
