Katie W. Miller
Katie W. Miller, 86, Bremen, died at 12:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 26, 2020, at her residence after 4 years of declining health. She was born January 22, 1934 in Reno County, Kansas to William C. and Sarah (Mast) Yoder. On Sept. 22, 1955, she married Eli W. Miller in Garnett, Kansas. Mr. Miller, passed away unexpectedly 2 hours and 15 minutes after her death.
The Miller’s moved to this area from Kansas in 1996.
Katie was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are her children, Wilma (Perry C.) Miller, Homer E. (Wilma) Miller, both of Shipshewana, Wayne E. (Ruth) Miller, Middlebury, Katherine “Kay” (Sam F.) Yoder, Bremen, Sara (Levi) Mast, Nappanee, Lonnie E. (Christina) Miller, Shipshewana, Ivan E. (Donna) Miller, Nappanee, Ada (Vernon) Yoder, Bremen; 51 grandchildren; 108 great grandchildren; brothers, Enos Yoder, Sarasota, Fla., Ezra Yoder, Shipshewana, Rudy W. Yoder, Sturgis, Mich., Clarence W. Yoder, Bennett, Colo.; sisters, Elizabeth Brown, Huntsville, AL, Martha Thomas, Bradenton, Fla., Sarah Marie (Marvin) Miller, Bremen; and sister-in-law, Ada Mae Yoder, Shipshewana. She was preceded in death by a great grandson, Jeremy Dale Mast; and brothers, Chris, Levi, William Jr. Yoder.
Family and friends may call after 2 Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020 and all day Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the Sam Yoder residence, 299 4th Rd., Bremen. Funeral Services will begin at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 29, also at the Yoder residence. Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church will officiate and burial will be in Weldy Cemetery.
