Warsaw Library’s November Activities Include Crafts, Bookstore Reopening

WARSAW — The following Warsaw Community Public Library activities are set to take place in November:
- WorkOne will host computer and resume/interviewing classes. Contact the library for details. Social distancing has limited the available spaces, please be sure to register. Walk-ins are not allowed at this time.
- Storytime Live is each Monday at 11 a.m. on WCPL’s Facebook page.
- Bedtime Stories is each Thursday at 7 p.m. on WCPL’s Facebook page. Wind down the day with books read by WCPL staff.
- Saturday Story Time features guest readers from the community on WCPL’s YouTube channel and Facebook page each Saturday at 9 a.m.
- People may pick up a children’s craft to go kit and tune into WCPL’s YouTube channel for instructions. Kits are available on Nov. 3 and 17 while supplies last.
- Flash Back Favorites is on WCPL’s Facebook page Nov. 4 at 5 p.m. Join teen librarian Anna as she discusses some of her favorite modern classic YA books from the last decade.
- Create different painting techniques during Friday’s Fab or Fail on WCPL’s YouTube channel Nov. 6 at 9 a.m.
- A $5 Bag Sale is Nov. 6 from noon-4 p.m. and Nov. 7 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Stuff a bag with books at the Friends of the Library book sale. Bags are provided and proceeds benefit the library.
- The Chapter Chat Book Club meets Nov. 12 at 1 p.m. to discuss “Take Me With You” by Catherine Ryan Hyde.
- Paint an adorable snowman with Susie Schaetzle on Nov. 9 at 5:30 p.m. The cost is $20 due at registration prior to the event. Class size is limited. Social distancing and facial coverings are required in accordance with state guidelines. Walk-ins are not allowed at this time.
- The Friends of the Library Story Emporium Bookstore will be open Nov. 21 from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
- The Truth Behind Low-Carbohydrate Diets is on Nov. 23 at 1 p.m. Join Sue Delagrange via Zoom and explore the pros and cons of several of the popular low carb diets on the market today. Please register to reserve a spot and receive a link to join the event.
- The Friendsgiving friendship bracelets craft for teens is on Nov. 25 at 4 p.m. on WCPL’s YouTube channel or Facebook page. Kits are available starting Nov. 16.
