WARSAW — A Warsaw man was recently arrested in a NET43 drug bust.
Scot Edward Puckett, 33, 2427 N. Shady Court, Warsaw, is charged with dealing in a schedule I, II or III controlled substance with enhancing circumstances, a level 4 felony; and possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor.
Sometime in March, an informant told a NET43 Drug Task Force officer that they had been in contact with Puckett and made an agreement to purchase 10 suboxone pills.
According to court documents, the informant went to Puckett’s residence to purchase the pills. At the time, a young child was seen outside of the residence. Puckett told the informant he only had seven suboxone pills to sell and would provide them with the remaining three pills at a later time. Using NET43 documented funds, the informant purchased the seven pills, which weighed more than two grams.
Puckett was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Oct. 22, with a $15,250 surety and cash bond.
