Goshen Hospital Has Increase In COVID-19 Patients Needing Intensive Care
News Release
GOSHEN — Goshen Hospital reports an increase in the number of COVID-19 patients needing intensive care in the hospital. At the previous high point, Goshen Hospital had 29 patients, currently they have 28 confirmed positive patients.
“We are very concerned about the increases in patients needing hospitalization over the past week,” said Randy Christophel, Goshen Health President and Chief Executive Officer. “We appreciate every time each one of you follows the recommended precautions, helping reduce the burden on our medical Colleagues and providers in the region. We all must step up to face COVID-19 together, and to encourage each other during this difficult time. Wear a mask, wash your hands, practice physical distancing and stay home when you are sick. This is the only way we can keep businesses and schools open, as well as keep from overwhelming our hospitals.”
