Warsaw Man Faces Multiple Meth Charges After NET43 Bust

WARSAW — A Warsaw man was recently arrested after a NET43 drug bust.
Ricky Derrll Daniels, 60, 3762 W. Old Road 30 Lot 55, Warsaw, was booked for dealing in methamphetamine with enhancing circumstances, a level 2 felony; possession of methamphetamine with enhancing circumstances, a level 3 felony; dealing in methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine, both level 4 felonies; and possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony.
Sometime in October, a NET43 Drug Task Force unit made a controlled purchase of methamphetamine from Daniels. An informant provided Daniels with NET43 documented funds in exchange for more than three grams of methamphetamine, according to court paperwork.
On Oct. 8, a NET43 unit made a controlled purchase of meth from Daniels. An informant provided Daniels with NET43 documented funds in exchange for more than seven grams of the drug.
While being taken into custody, Daniels had more than 15 grams of methamphetamine on his person. Officers also found more than two grams of methamphetamine, digital scales and a large amount of currency in Daniels’ shop.
Daniels was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Oct. 8, with a $50,250 surety and cash bond.
