WINONA LAKE – Grace defender Korry Hamlin picked up the first national honor of his career when he was named the NCCAA National Defender of the Week on Monday.
Hamlin had a memorable week for Grace’s men’s soccer team. The junior scored his first collegiate goal during a 5-0 rout of Goshen on a header.
Earlier in the week, Hamlin’s defending helped the Lancers draw with Indiana Wesleyan after two overtimes.
The Lancers are currently 2-2-2 in Crossroads League play. Grace has outscored its opponents 12-5 over the course of six matches.
