North Webster Library: Get Your Teens Off Their Phones, Into Books

NORTH WEBSTER — Get your teens off their phones and introduce them to the teen section at North Webster Community Public Library.
The library has a dedicated section just for teens and young adults that houses over 2,800 books including many popular series, graphic novels and audio books. The teen section is furnished with bistro tables providing a place to hang out to read, access Wi-Fi on their mobile devices or visit with friends.
Any teen who lives in Tippecanoe Township can get a North Webster Library card for free. A parent’s signature is required for those under 18. Teens who hold an Evergreen library card from another library can also use it at North Webster.
Teens as well as adults will appreciate the library’s large DVD section containing nearly 10,000 titles. The collection includes titles in all genres for adults, teens and children. Patrons will find new releases, classics, old time favorites, documentaries, cartoons, TV series and more. DVDs can be checked out for one week with automatic renewals. Stop in and browse the DVD section or peruse the collection online before coming in to make your selections.
If you still like to get your news from newspapers, the library invites you to relax in the lounge area and read up on the news. The library offers the latest issues of the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Indianapolis Star, Fort Wayne Journal-Gazette, The Mail-Journal and Warsaw Times-Union. Patrons will also find a large selection of magazines covering a variety of subject matter.
