John Anthony “Tony” Bajic, 79, Pierceton, passed away at 3:05 p.m. on Sept. 29, 2020, at his residence. He was born on April 20, 1941, in Chicago, Ill. to John Joseph and Elizabeth (Brown) Bajic.
He graduated from Tilden Technical High School in Chicago and served in the United States Army. He was married on April 6, 1968, in Chicago, Ill. to Patricia A. Kocolowski who survives. He formerly worked for the city of Chicago, retiring after 40+ years. He lived most of his life in Chicago and had a second home in the Pierceton and Warsaw, area for 30+ years. He moved to the Pierceton area full-time four years ago.
He was a member of the American Legion, the Military Order of the Cootie, and a lifetime member of the VFW.
He is survived by his wife; four sons: Michael Bajic of Crest Hill, Ill.; Brian (Amy) Bajic of Frankfurt, Ill.; Jason Bajic of Alsip, Ill.; and David Bajic of Waterloo; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother – Daniel “Frank” Bajic, and two sisters: Mary Seward and Barbara Rafinski
No services are to be held at this time. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw, IN 46582 is in charge of arrangements.
