WINONA LAKE — Multiple fire departments responded to a report of a house fire in a Winona Lake housing addition.
Shortly before noon Friday, Sept. 25, Winona Lake Fire Department responded to a house fire in the Southtown Shores housing addition at 2505 Marjorie St., Winona Lake.
Initial reports are that a lawnmower near the residence caught fire. Those in the residence at the time escaped safely.
Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory was called for a full assist; tankers from Claypool, Burket and Pierceton Fire Departments were also called to the house fire for assistance.
According to Kosciusko County Beacon GIS, the property is owned by David and Betty Frush.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Winona Lake Police Department and Lutheran EMS also assisted at the scene.
