Winona Lake Oktoberfest Saturday

WINONA LAKE — Winona Lake’s annual Oktoberfest is happening this Saturday, Sept. 26.
The festival includes a variety of German-themed activities for all ages, including a homemade streusel making contest and beer stein holding contest.
Oktoberfest start at 10 a.m., with a scarecrow contest at the Village at Winona’s shops. Each participating shop was tasked with making a scarecrow and attendees will get to vote for their favorite creation. Additional tickets can be purchased for $1, with all proceeds going toward the future ice rink pavilion. Voting will end on Sunday, Sept. 27.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be a Porsche show, as well as kids’ activities with Spoonful of Imagination at the Center Pavilion.
Also at 11 a.m., the KCV 12-hour ride/run challenge will start at the activity tent. Enter the challenge for a chance to win a bicycle from Trailhouse Village Bicycles. Food drop-off for the homemade streusel contest will also start at 11 a.m. at the activity tent. Judging for the streusel contest will take place at noon.
A beer stein holding contest will also be held at 2 p.m.
