LEESBURG – Tippecanoe Lake Country Club was the site for the 2020 Warsaw Volleyball Golf Outing, held over the weekend.
The event, an annual fundraiser to help the betterment of the volleyball programs at Warsaw Community High School as well as Edgewood and Lakeview Middle Schools, was played as a golf scramble on the banks of Tippecanoe Lake.
A total of 26 teams (104 players) took part in the event, which brought in a gross of over $20,000.
“The support of our community, family and friends made it an amazing day for Warsaw High School, Edgewood and Lakeview volleyball,” said Warsaw varsity head coach Chandra Hepler. “Thank you to all of our hole sponsors, teams, Tippecanoe Lake Country Club and Bryon Weinstein for all your support and help. We greatly appreciate it and look forward to next year.”
The team of Tad Nieter, Joe Graham, Rod Mayer and Shane Hartel were the champions of the event, shooting a 16-under 54 on the country club course.
