Constance ‘Connie’ Hill
Constance “Connie” Hill, 75, Leesburg, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2020, in her home. Constance was born July 4, 1945, in Michigan City, to Theodore and Ruth (Trowe) Seeling.
Connie was the youngest of three daughters. She was united in marriage to Darius Hill on Aug. 6, 1983, in St. Johns United Church of Christ in Michigan City. They were married for 37 years. Connie loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was very proud of her nieces and nephews. She was a Sunday school teacher at St. Johns United Church of Christ and was a secretary for Michigan City Schools.
Connie is survived by her husband, Darius Hill, Leesburg; sister, Nancy (Leonard) Soller, Michigan City; and three step-children, Evelyn (Larry) Hill, Catherine (Todd) Kellar, and Darius (Joyce) Hill П, all of Akron, Ohio; two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents, and sister, Gloria (Steven) Sass, who passed in 2019.
**Masks are required. The public is kindly requested to provide their own.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service following immediately at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Chaplains Todd Wilson and Tim Lee will be officiating the service. Interment will be Private.
