Car Show Highlights Return of First Friday In Warsaw
News Release
WARSAW – First Friday is back!
Warsaw-Area McDonald’s Restaurants will host a classic car cruise-in, from 5 to 9 p.m. Sept. 4, at First Friday Warsaw on the courthouses square.
The event marks the first in-person First Friday of the year since the COVID-19 stay-at-home order was issued.
McDonald’s branded Camero will be on display at center stage throughout the event in addition to dozens of classic cars from throughout the region. Warsaw-area McDonald’s franchise owners/operators and staff will participate in the event, featuring information about McDonald’s new curbside app, voucher coupon giveaways, and introducing new seasonal menu items.
Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts’ Center Street Community Theater cast of “CLUE” will roam the event to promote Sept. 10-12 and 13 shows and hand out fee passes to lucky event-goers.
Joe’s Kids will also be at the event. With a $100 donation, donors will be entered into a raffle to win a motor trio, consisting of a 2011 Custom Harley Davidson Trike, trailer, and 2003 Harley Davidson anniversary special edition Ford F-150 truck. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the event or by calling (574) 306-4589.
The trio prize drawing is tentatively scheduled to take place in October at the First Friday Warsaw Art-tober event. Proceeds will benefit Joe’s Kids.
Joe’s Kids provides care to children with a wide variety of diagnoses including autism, sensory processing disorder, hypotonia, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and many other genetic and developmental disorders.
