Lynette E. Brazil
Lynette E. Brazil, 77, Rochester passed away at 9:35 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2020, at Visiting Nurse Hospice of Fort Wayne.
On Jan. 15, 1943, Lynette was born in Omaha, Neb. She was the precious daughter of Walter R. and Junette G. Boyce Kohlun. Growing up she shared her childhood with three brothers William, Bruce and James. The Kohlun family moved with their young family so Lynette got the opportunity to live in Nebraska, Texas and Guam before settling in Indiana. She graduated from Maconaquah High School in 1961.
In Peru, Lynette and Jack Brazil were married on May 20, 1962. They enjoyed making many memories for more than a half century. From their union came four wonderful children Annette, Casey, Robert and John. The family tree continued to grow with the added blessings of three more generations.
Left to cherish Lynette’s memory are two daughters, Annette Brazil Cowan and husband Dan of Los Angeles, Calif.; Casey Brazil Nine and husband David of Plymouth Lake, Calif.; two sons, Robert Brazil and wife Kristi and John Brazil and wife Juliete, both of Winchester, Ky.; ten grandchildren, Jenny, Robert, Kai, Kiana, Montana, Cheyenne, Jacob, Josephine, David, Brian; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, William Kohlun and wife Barbara of Fort Worth, Texas, Bruce Kohlun and wife Cathy of Norman, Okla., James Kohlun and wife Dorinda of Palm Beach, Fla. and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Lynette in death are her parents Walter and Junette Kohlun and beloved husband Jack on Oct. 29, 2015.
Private family services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Good Family Funeral Home of Rochester.
