Spend Time With Your Favorite Person At Last Friday
Press Release
SYRACUSE — Grab your favorite person and head to uptown Syracuse for the Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce’s date night themed Last Friday. From 6-8 p.m. Aug. 28, uptown will be alive with music, vendors and tasty offerings.
Sponsored by Bass Audiology, Top Secret will entertain everyone with live music. While enjoying the tunes, be sure to grab a bite to eat either from local restaurants or from the food trucks that will be present uptown for the evening.
REMAX Partners will be offering its signature free popcorn, the Syracuse Rotary Club will have lemon shake-ups for purchase and the Syracuse Lions Club will be bringing its Terri Lynn nuts and candy fundraiser.
Uptown businesses will be open, and there will be additional vendor booths, including Dreamin’ Dragonfly and Crooked Mile Candles.
Syracuse-Wawasee Trails is hosting its cruise-in, which was previously postponed, during the event. Classic cars can start arriving at 5 p.m. and check in on North Harrison Street on the east side of the Syracuse Public Library. From there, cars will be parked along Main Street. There will be a People’s Choice Award, and the winner will walk away with a Sleepy Owl gift card.
Registration for the car show is $20, and all proceeds go to the Syracuse-Wawasee Park Foundation to fund the continuance of trails.
