WARSAW – One of two drivers involved in a late afternoon accident suffered an apparent head injury after his silver four-door sedan struck a utility pole south of Warsaw.
The accident happened sometime after 5 p.m. at the corner of Country Club Road and CR 400S.
The driver who was injured had been traveling south when a motorist in a Jeep traveling east on 400S entered the intersection. To avoid colliding, the car swerved, crossed the centerline and then hit a pole on the east side of the road.
The driver was taken to a hospital for what was a gash on his head, according to a bystander.
The Jeep apparently escaped damage.
