Pincushion Pals Donate Masks To Warsaw Community Schools
Press Release
WARSAW — A local group recently donated handmade masks to Warsaw Community Schools.
Pincushion Pals donated 1,500 handmade masks that will go to the WCS transportation department, school buildings and new teachers. These volunteer sewers make up to six masks per hour. Volunteers will also be delivering 300 more handmade masks for the nurse’s office.
The Pincushion Pals club originated out of the Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church. Ann Sweet is the coordinator, as well as the heart and soul of the project. Funding support for the materials for the masks came from multiple individual and corporate donors. If anyone would like to sew with the group, get additional information or make a donation, contact Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church at (574) 267-6623. Warsaw Community Schools would like to thank all the volunteers and donors for this generous gift and act of kindness.
