Lady Tiger Golfers Win Four-Way Match

WINONA LAKE — Warsaw’s golfers thought they would be competing on the course this week on both Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Instead, the the two events were combined into one with Huntington North, Wabash and Tippecanoe Valley making their way to the tees at Stonehenge Golf Club this afternoon.
The Lady Tigers came out on top in the four-way match, tallying a team score of 177, which was 10 strokes better than the team from Huntington. Wabash came in to the clubhouse in third place with a 205 while the girls from Tippecanoe Valley brought up the rear with a respectable 206.
Warsaw ace Marie Frazzetta finished with a 9-hole score of 40, finishing as low medalist. Rounding out the scoring for the Lady Tigers were Delaney Byron with a 43; Sydney Lancaster, 46; and Olivia Robinson-Gay, 48.
Tallying for Tippecanoe Valley were Madelyn Weaver with a team-low 45; Molly Moriarity, 50; Kaydence Mellott, 52; and Lily Ault, 59.
Warsaw is scheduled to host the Warsaw Invite at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22. The Lady Vikings will participate in the Rochester Invite on the same date.
