Kosciusko County CROP Hunger Walk Is Sept. 27
News Release
WARSAW — The Kosciusko County CROP Hunger walk will be held on Sunday, Sept. 27.
There will not be an in-person gathering that day. Instead, there will be a virtual walk conducted. Participants are more than welcome to use the route that begins at The Salvation Army but everyone is encouraged to practice safety by setting their own walk and not creating a large group.
Participants can go to https://www.crophungerwalk.org/warsawin/ to register themselves and their team.
Money from the walk is being collected with 75 percent going to Church World Service and 25 percent staying locally for Greater Warsaw Ministerial Association to support the Thanksgiving Baskets given out to families by St. Anne’s Church in cooperation with Warsaw Schools.
Donations may be dropped off at The Salvation Army, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. Churches may also collect food for the Choice Pantry at The Salvation Army.
