Herman Phillip Frauhiger Jr.
Herman Phillip Frauhiger, Jr. a lifetime resident of Warsaw, passed away at 5:50 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2020, at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne, at the age of 87.
He was born on July 23, 1933, in Warsaw, to Dorothy (Clase) Frauhiger and Herman Phillip Frauhiger, Sr. On Aug. 31, 1952, he was married to Janet Joyce (Leak) Frauhiger, who survives.
Herman was a 1951 graduate of Warsaw High School. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and started Quick Clean Sales in Warsaw in 1977. Quick Clean Sales, which also operates under the name Quick Clean Laundry has been serving the Warsaw Community for over 45 years. Herman was very proud of all of his businesses, he also operated Quick Clean Car Wash which he started in 1964 on Winona Avenue. He had numerous warehouses, rental storage facilities, and commercial rental properties in Warsaw, one being Lakeview Shopping Center. When he wasn’t working he loved to big game hunt in Colorado, fished and hunted in Florida, and spent many years wintering in Port Charlotte, Fla. Herman lived a long and full life and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 67 years, Janet Joyce Frauhiger, Warsaw; two sons: Wade Frauhiger, Warsaw; Kim (Debbie) Frauhiger, Charleston, S.C.; two grandchildren: Brian Frauhiger, Wilmington, Dela.; Phillip (Pam) Frauhiger, Warsaw; and three great-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Donna Keough on January 7, 2018.
Herman’s Life will be celebrated with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2020. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
