MARSHALL COUNTY — Marshall County Police investigated two collisions at US 30 and Queen Road within hours of each other Monday evening, Aug. 17. The first collision caused minor injuries to two semitractor drivers and a motorcycle driver sustained unknown injuries in the second collision.
Marshall County Central Dispatch Center received a 911 call at approximately 7:40 p.m. of a crash at US 30 and Queen Road in the eastbound lanes. Plymouth Fire/EMS and police along with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded and found two semitractor/trailers had collided. Miron Kadyrov, Brooklyn, N.W., was driving a 2014 Volvo semitractor/trailer eastbound behind a 2019 Freightliner semitractor/trailer driven by Francesca Williams, Horn Lake, Miss. Williams stopped at the intersection for the red light when the semitrailer she was hauling was struck by Kadyrov’s semitractor. Minor injuries were reported.
At approximately 10:02 p.m., while police were still on scene investigating the collision in the eastbound lanes, a secondary crash occurred in the westbound lanes at the intersection. Plymouth Fire and EMS were requested back at the scene. This crash investigation revealed a 2020 Harley Davidson, driven by Christian Warner, LaPorte, had stopped for the red light when it was rear-ended by a 2008 Ford Escape driven by Brandi McCroskey, Rochester. Warner was taken to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
