Doris N. Ross, 91, of rural Tippecanoe, Indiana passed at 6:19 pm, Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020, at her residence.
Doris was born on Dec. 23, 1928, in Macy, to Robert and Miriam (Fenters) Baker. She married on Oct. 3, 1948, in Macy, to Robert W. Ross, he preceded in her in death on May 4, 1992.
Doris lived a long and faith filled life. She graduated from Fulton High School and furthered her education at Ft. Wayne Business College. She had various jobs as a bookkeeper retiring from Niff-Corr at the age of 70, but never retiring from living until her last day. She went sky diving at age 88 and loved every bit of life. She especially enjoyed her church life, first of Mentone Church of Christ and then of Rochester Church of Christ.
Survivors include sons, Gregory and wife Deborah Ross of Randleman, N.C.; David and wife Natalie Ross of Bourbon; and Alan and wife Laura Ross of Tucson, Ariz.; a daughter, Susan Ross and companion Tom Walters of Palestine; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a granddaughter Angela Ross.
No services are planned at this time.
A final remembrance place will be in the Horton – Mud Lake Chapel Cemetery, Fulton County, Macy.
Arrangements are entrusted to King Memorial Home 101 North Tucker Street Mentone.
