Animal Welfare League’s Pets of the Week
News Release
WARSAW – The Animal Welfare League presents its “Pets of the Week” featuring Elijah the dog, and Butterscotch the cat.
What is black, white, and cute all over? It’s our dog of the week, Elijah! Elijah is a three-year-old, neutered male, terrier mix. He is white with black patches and weighs 20 pounds. This little cutie is a shy guy and needs time to feel comfortable when meeting new friends. Elijah loves to go for walks outside and take in the fresh air.
He also enjoys cuddles and head rubs. Elijah is looking for a quiet home, with children older than 12 years, where he can spend time relaxing and snoozing. If you have other pets he would like to meet them. Come visit Elijah today!
Elijah’s adoption fee is $130.
Meet our favorite flavor of the week, Butterscotch! This sweet as sugar girl is a one-year-old, Domestic Short Hair mix. Named for her unique orange coloring, Butterscotch is a real catch. She loves all sorts of attention, her favorite being chin and head rubs. She also has a shorter tail due to an injury when she was younger.
It doesn’t slow her down in the least and adds character to her already adorable frame. Butterscotch would do wonderful with any individual or family. If you have other pets, she would like to meet them. Make an appointment today to spend time with Butterscotch!
Butterscotch’s adoption fee is $70.
