Keith Warner
Mr. Keith Warner, 91, Rochester passed away at 11:25 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 10, 2020, at Hickory Creek of Winamac.
On March 18, 1929, Herbert Keith Warner was born in Argos to Herbert and Marie Trembel Warner. Growing up he shared his childhood with a sister Lura. Keith graduated in 1947 from Richland Center High School.
On June 10, 1950, at the Richland Center United Methodist Church, Keith married his high school sweetheart, Barbara Ann Shoemaker. Together they enjoyed over 65 years of life’s adventures. Their union produced two daughters, Kathleen and Angela, and a son Jeff. Over the years the family tree grew with the added blessings of six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren
Left to cherish Keith’s memory are two daughters: Kathleen Cunningham, and Angela McClellan and husband Kevin; a son, Jeff Warner and wife Jo Ann; six grandchildren: Ryan Cunningham, Monica Huffman and husband Travis, Tyler McClellan and wife Sarah, Erica McClellan, Ashley DuBois and husband T.J. all of Rochester, and Adam Warner and wife Sasha of Ft. Wayne; nine great-grandchildren; Camden Cunningham, Aaron Huffman, Ethan Huffman, Warner DuBois, Wylson DuBois, Amelia Warner, Oliver Warner, Kyle McClellan, Oliver McClellan; two great-great-grandchildren: Alexis Cunningham and Addison Cunningham; a sister-in-law Claudette Canzian and husband Bruno of Greenfield; a brother-in-law Don Shoemaker and wife Bonnie of Elwood; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Keith in death are his parents, Herbert and Marie Warner; beloved wife Barbara on Aug. 22, 2015; son-in-law Joe Cunningham in 1990; sister Lura Morgan in 1999; and his devoted canine companion, Cody, a golden retriever
A celebration of the life of Keith Warner will take place at the Richland Center IOOF Cemetery at 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 14. Pastor Mike VanHeyningen will officiate services. Military graveside rites will be accorded by the Fulton County Veteran’s Honor Guard and the United States Army Honor’s Team. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.
