Ivana E. Goodrich, 67, Silver Lake, passed away Friday, Aug. 7, 2020, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born the daughter of Ivan and Mary (Calvert) Rock in Rochester on Feb. 6, 1953. She became the bride of Dennis on Dec. 27, 1975, who survives. She has been a long time resident of the area. She loved sewing, to crochet, enjoyed reading and most of all her family. In 1971, she graduated from Triton High School and was a member of Talma United Methodist Church.
Family who will greatly miss Ivana are her husband; a daughter: Dawn (Tom) Whittaker, Silver Lake; and sons: Christopher (Lana) Goodrich, South Carolina; and Jason (Eduardo) Goodrich, Arizona. Ivana’s sisters and brothers include: Amy (Tim) Stryker, Goshen; Edward (LeeAnn) Rock, Mentone; Marty Rock, Argos; Dale (Wilma) Rock, Mentone; Larry (Priscilla) Rock, Tippecanoe; and David (Teresa) Rock, Tippecanoe. Many grandchildren will remember Ivana as well: Jeff, Bradi, Angel, Elizabeth, Logan, Jeremiah, Madison, Darick and her nine great-grandchildren.
Preceding in death are her father; a grandson: Aaron; and mother-in-law: Lois Goodrich.
The family will have a graveside service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, in Tippecanoe Cemetery with her brother Edward Rock officiating. A celebration of Ivana’s life will follow the burial at 4117 Hughes Drive, Silver Lake, Indiana 46982.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the family to help defray expenses rather than flowers.
