Daniel James “D.J.” Kreider, 36, Winona Lake, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020.
He was born on July 19, 1984, in Warsaw, to James Kelly and Tina (Kreider) Patrick.
He was employed as a forklift operator for Builders Mart and Premier Concepts. He enjoyed spending time with his children, fishing, playing games on Xbox, loved dragons and Batman, and learning archery. He was known to be very outgoing, “goofy”, laid back, and easy to talk to and joke with.
He is survived by his mother: Tina (Michael) Patrick, Winona Lake; fiancée: Cassandra Frantz, Winona Lake; children: Nicholas Kreider, Matthew Kreider and Areil Barr; aunts: Chris Kreider, Silver Lake; and Ronda Ashby, Etna Green; and maternal grandmother: Linda Poe, Winona Lake. In addition, he is survived by brothers: David Watkins, Winona Lake; and Charles Kreider, Warsaw; a niece and two nephews. He was preceded in death by two nephews; a brother; a sister; maternal grandfather; and both paternal grandparents.
Masks are required. The public is kindly requested to provide their own.
A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Aug. 12, with a funeral service following immediately at noon at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
