BFGoodrich Sponsors 2,000 Boxes Of Cookies From Girl Scouts
Press Release
FORT WAYNE — BFGoodrich Tires, located in Woodburn, is proud to announce the sponsorship of 2,000 boxes of cookies from the Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana – Michiana.
Parkview Children’s Hospital, Lutheran’s Children Hospital and the Veteran’s Hospital received cookies as a gift from BFG in recognition for their dedicated service to children and veterans. Cookies will also be shared with the employees at the Woodburn facility in recognition of their outstanding commitment to quality and service. This sponsorship will help the Girl Scouts offset the impact of the pandemic when they were prevented fro selling cookies in-person.
“We are very grateful to BFG for this sponsorship of 2,000 cookies. This level of support makes a huge impact on girls who might not be able to participate without additional financial assistance. BFG is making it possible for girls to have opportunities to grow in courage, confidence and character. We are very thankful BFG is joining us. Together we are making the world a better place,” said Sharon Pohly, CEO for GSNI-M.
“We are fully supportive of the Girl Scout mission to build girls of courage, confidence and character,” said Terry Redmile, plant manager for BFGoodrich. “These cookies put a smile on everyone’s face and we are grateful we could help this great organization during these difficult times.”
GSNI-M’s Corporate Cookie Sponsorship enables members of the community to continue helping Girl Scouts in the area with support for memberships, uniforms, outreach opportunities and a variety of projects the troops plan to do in the community.
