Thomas ‘Tom’ Vincent Howard

Thomas “Tom” Vincent Howard of Indianapolis, and formerly of Warsaw, passed away at 8:02 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of 65.
He was born on Dec. 27, 1954, in Warsaw, to Charlotte Arlene (Robison) McCleary and Lowell Bruce Howard.
Tom was a longtime resident of Kosciusko County before moving to Indianapolis. He was a 1973 graduate of Warsaw High School, then attended Ferris State College in Big Rapids, Mich. graduating with a Bachelors degree in 1977. Tom worked in the accounting field for his entire life. He was an avid sailor, he enjoyed sports, and was a referee in all major regional sports. Tom loved being part of the game and never tired of spending his free time being a referee. He loved his four sisters dearly and always looked forward to family gatherings. His smiling face will be missed by his family and friends.
He will be lovingly remembered by his four sisters: Susan Howard, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; Mary Lucht, Indianapolis; Sally Howard-Schou (husband Peter Schou), South Pasadena, Calif.; Margaret (Todd) McCleary Gordon, Carmel; and he also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, and his brother Jimmie.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m., Monday Aug. 10, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. with Father Ryan Fischer officiating. Graveside services will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana.
