MARSHALL AND FULTON COUNTIES — The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced that SR 110 will be closed between SR 17 and US 31 for approximately 12 hours on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
The road will be closed for a culvert replacement, with an alternate date of Wednesday, Aug. 12, if needed.
Drivers should seek an alternate route. The official detour will follow US 31, SR 10 and SR 17.
Additionally, the INDOT has announced lane closures for SR 17 between SR 14 and SR 10 beginning Tuesday, Aug. 11. There will be alternating lane closures while SR 17 is patched and resurfaced. Work will occur for approximately 12 hours a day during daylight hours only. Flaggeres will direct traffic in the area where work is occurring. The project is expcted to be completed by the beginning of Nov. 2020.
INDOT urges drivers to stay alert near crews and follow traffic directions carefully. Drivers are encouraged to allow extra time when driving through this area. Drivers should slow down, use extra caution and drive distraction-free through all work zones.
