Warsaw Woman Arrested After Allegedly Stabbing Man
WARSAW – A Warsaw woman is being charged for stabbing a man during an altercation.
Ricci Mckayla Rice, 23, 701 S. 325E, Warsaw, was charged domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16, and battery with a deadly weapon, a Level 5 and 6 Felony and a Misdemeanor. Her bond is $11,000 surety and cash.
According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, Officers responded to a residence in reference to a domestic violence report. Upon arrival, officers found the victim who had a wound on his left shoulder, he advised it was from a shelf that had fallen.
After talking to other witnesses it was clear that Ricci Mckayla Rice and the victim had been in an altercation. Rice first told the others that the victim had stabbed himself and then she cleaned the knife off and placed back into a drawer. The victim admitted after being treated that Rice had stabbed him, and correctly identified the knife she had used and put away.
Rice was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Wednesday, July 29.
