James Weaver, 66, Bremen, died 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at his home. He was born April 18, 1954, in Elkhart, to William G. and Annetta (Martin) Weaver.
On August 28, 1982, he married Karen (Shaum) Weaver.
Surviving are his wife, Karen, Bremen, four children, Julie (Matt) Pletcher, Goshen, Krystal (Justin) Martin, Elkhart, Douglas (Shari) Weaver, Goshen, Kevin Weaver, Bremen, ten granddaughters, siblings, Wayne (Janie) Weaver, Claypool, Harry (Miriam) Weaver, Argos, Margaret (Willard) Martin, Harrisonburg, Virginia, Irvin (Anna Mary) Weaver, Elkhart, Erma (Gary) Showalter, Mt. Crawford, Virginia, brothers-in-law, Neil Beery, Harrisonburg, Virginia and Roy Ringler, Goshen.
Preceding him in death are his parents and siblings, Lucy Beery, Miriam Ringler and Martin Weaver.
James worked for Brubacher Excavating and was a member of Cornerstone Mennonite Church.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 24, and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at Cornerstone Mennonite Church, 24546 CR 44, Nappanee, where the funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 26. Home Ministry will officiate, and burial will follow at the Cornerstone Mennonite Church Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to Christian Aid Ministries and Heartland Hospice.
