Man Who Allegedly Took Items From Employer Charged With Theft

WARSAW — A Warsaw man has been arrested after allegedly taking items from the company he worked for.
Todd Michael Clay, 28, 3699 N. 175E, Warsaw, is charged with theft, a level 6 felony.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on July 14, a Warsaw Police officer was dispatched to New Plumbing & Heating regarding a theft.
The officer was informed that it was believed that Clay had taken items from the business without permission and for personal use. The officer was told that the items belonging to the business could be seen in plain view through the window of Clay’s vehicle.
Clay allegedly admitted to taking the items because he needed money. The value of the items taken amounted to $2,431.97.
Clay was booked at the Kosciusko County Jail July 14 on a $5,250 surety and cash bond.
