Lorene C. Tesh, 72, Warsaw and formerly of Wabash, passed at 4:38 p.m., Sunday, July 19, 2020, at her residence.
Lorene was born on May 13, 1948, in Floyd County, Ky., to the late Fred and Myrtle (Manns) Conley. She married on Oct. 21, 1967, to Leon F. Tesh, who preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 1986.
She worked for United Tech of North Manchester, Dexter Axle of North Manchester, and Goshen Industries. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, reading, painting, gardening, and tending to her flowers.
She is survived by daughters Martha Miller and companion Vincent Slone of Warsaw and Jeannie and husband Christopher Sanburn of Warsaw; grandchildren Angel, Lucille, David, Adam, Heather, and Isabella; great grandchildren Alexzander, Raven, Arya, Lillian, and Emory; sisters Zefie Jackson, Gracie Jackson, Martha and husband Ray Hancock; and brothers Amos Conley, Norman Conley and Alfred Conley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Nancy Pennington, Izinia Thorrington, Christene Cornell, and Opal Conley; and a brother, Jerry Conley.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 24, at Hartzler Funeral Home 305 West Rochester Street Akron, with Pastor Glen Crouse officiating. For the health of all in attendance we encourage the public to wear masks.
Burial will follow at Gaerte Cemetery, Macy, Indiana.
Visitation is 10 a.m.-11 a.m.,, Friday, July 24, at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
