At Syracuse Library, Returned Books Placed In Short-Term Quarantine
SYRACUSE – The board of directors and staff want borrowing items from the library to be user friendly. The Syracuse Library is now fine free.
Here are some tips from the library staff:
One of the benefits is there are no overdue fees when the books you return sit for three days in quarantine. Another stress-reducing service is the automatic renewal of most items. Information about your account is system-generated and sent to your personal email.
Students and college students that have borrowed books from their school’s library can return in-state items to the Syracuse Library and they will be sent to the school. Wawasee High School students can get a jump on the school year by returning books to the public library.
WorkOne is at the Syracuse Library on Wednesday afternoons from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. They help with resume writing and job searches along with help in the process of filling out unemployment applications. Please schedule an appointment at the Warsaw number of 260-255-5079. The number to reach the library to schedule is 574-457-3022.
