Henry Joseph Yoder,
Henry Joseph Yoder, 86, Nappanee, died peacefully in his sleep of natural causes at his home on Saturday, July 11, 2020.
Henry was born on Oct. 28, 1933, in Kosciusko County, to Harvey J. and Fannie (Schmucker) Yoder.
He married Wilma Miller on Nov. 15, 1956 in Nappanee, and they lived in matrimony for 63 years, seven months and 26 days. Henry was a lifetime resident of the Nappanee area and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He is survived by his wife Wilma Yoder of Nappanee; daughter, Naomi (Lamar) Miller of Milford; daughter Marietta (Elden) Troyer of Crofton, Ky.; daughter Joanna (Everett) Hochstetler of Nappanee; son, Steven (Sharon) Yoder of Nappanee; son, Lyle (Laura) Yoder of Nappanee; 30 grandchildren; 79 great grandchildren; brother Harvey Jr. (Sally) Yoder of Florida; brother Steven (Dianne) Yoder of Goshen; brother, Jerry (Rose) Yoder of Nappanee; brother, Paul (Patricia) Yoder of Nappanee; brother, David (Debra) Yoder of Nappanee; sister, Fannie (Melvin) Miller of Freemont, Mich.; sister, Martha (Vernon) Miller of Etna Green; sister in law, Mary Yoder of Nappanee; and brother in law Delmer Mullet of Nappanee.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents; step mother Clara Yoder; two grandsons, Henry Eli Troyer and Matthew Lee Yoder; two great granddaughters, Maria Diane Hochstetler and Lydia Rose Hochstetler; brothers, Glenn Yoder, Earl Yoder, Homer Yoder and Floyd Yoder; and a sister Elizabeth Mullet.
