Local Groceries Get New Name
News Release
SYRACUSE — The local grocery stores in Syracuse and North Webster are having a name change as of Monday, July 13. Instead of NewMarket, they will be now known as Neighborhood Fresh.
In the press release sent from owners Clete Miller and Todd Taylor, it was noted nothing else will change but the name. There will be the same employees, products, stores and owners.
The chain of stores was purchased almost 15 years ago from Lance’s Food Market. The stores were originally owned by John Augsburger. The chain is headquartered in Holland, Ohio.
The signage on the front of the stores will be changed the week of July 13 and so will the website: neighborhoodfresh.com.
Neighborhood Fresh is looking forward to another 15 years of partnership with associates, managers and partner customers.
