Harold R. Schue
Harold R. Schue, 91, Warsaw, passed away at 7:05 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2020, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Harold was born June 25, 1929, in Warsaw, to William and Mary (Drabenstott) Schue. He was united in marriage to Virginia Oswalt on Feb. 7, 1948, in Warsaw, who preceded him in death June 12, 2006.
He was a lifetime resident in the Warsaw area. He worked the foundry from when he was 15 years old until he bought a farm in 1972. He retired from farming in 1989. He proudly served in the Army as a staff SGT CO. L from 1948 -1951. He was a member of the First Brethren Church, Warsaw. He loved Bluegrass music, loved farming, and lived a life filled with faith as a servant of the Lord.
Harold is survived by son, Robert Schue of Pierceton; daughter-in-law, Denise Schue of Mishawaka; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife, Virginia Schue; son, James Schue; brothers, Paul, Ben, and Donald Schue; sister, Helen Shafer; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Schue, and both parents.
A visitation will be from 10 a.m.-noon on Monday, July 13, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with a funeral service following immediately at noon in the Funeral Chapel. Pastor Howard Immel will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
