Foundation Grant Deadline Approaching Soon
News Release
WARSAW – Kosciusko County Community Foundation’s KREMC Operation Round-Up August Grant cycle is now accepting applications.
Any organization with a charitable designation that serves residents who live in the Kosciusko REMC service area may apply. The primary areas of interest are arts & culture, civic projects, education, environment, health, human services, or recreation, with preference given to grants that serve a broad segment of the community, impact the most vulnerable populations, promote energy efficiency, aid in youth development, support local agriculture, or are to cover the costs of putting on a program. The deadline to apply is Aug. 1 by 4:30 p.m.
The KREMC Operation Round-Up Grants are made possible because of generous members of KREMC who choose to “round-up” their electrical bill every month to the nearest whole dollar. Those seeking to apply for this cycle should begin by reviewing the grant guidelines and discussing their project with the Community Foundation’s Program Staff. After communicating with the Community Foundation by either email or phone, the grant seeker will be able to complete a full application.
All of the detailed instructions and a link to the online application portal are available under the following link, as well as a list of attachments applicants will need to provide: https://www.kcfoundation.org/grants/kremc-operation-round-up/.
Organizations that are awarded grants for the August cycle will be notified approximately six weeks after the August 1 deadline.
