Kenneth L. “Kenny” Middaugh, 92, Nappanee, passed away, Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at Elkhart Hospice House. He was born Nov. 26, 1927, in Marshall County, to Noble and Blanche (Balsey) Middaugh.
Kenneth was a 1945 Nappanee High School graduate. On Aug. 24, 1947, he married Patricia Joann Hare in Warsaw. Kenneth was a lifelong area resident. He was a member of the Nappanee United Methodist Church and he did custodial work at the church. His joy was to serve his church, family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Middaugh, Wakarusa; daughter, Kendra (Cal) Cripe, Goshen; son, Craig (Brenda) Middaugh, Nappanee; grandchildren, Cassi (Ben) Bowman and Travis Middaugh, both of Nappanee, Heather (Kevin) Walter, Elkhart, Chad Cripe, Goshen; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Truex, Wakarusa. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Clarence “Red” Middaugh and Anna Mae Wise.
Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. – noon followed by a noon funeral service, Friday, July 3, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Pastor Mike Raasch, of Living Gospel Church, will officiate. In accordance with the State of Indiana Back on Track Plan, family and friends are encouraged to follow social distancing protocols.
