Warsaw Community Pool Set To Open
WARSAW – The Warsaw Community Pool is set to reopen on July 6, and with it, the school has issued several levels of guidelines to provide a safe and enjoyable place to swim. Warsaw laid out its plan for the reopen, listed below.
2020 Open Swim Guidelines
Arrival:
- We ask that you do a self-screen before coming to our facility.
- If you are experiencing any COVID – 19 symptoms listed below over the past 24 hours or at the present time, we will ask that you excuse yourself from our facility.
- New loss of taste or smell
- Temperature of 100.4 or higher
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Chills
- Muscle pain
- Headache
- Sore throat
- Nausea/vomiting
- Diarrhea
- If you are experiencing any COVID – 19 symptoms listed below over the past 24 hours or at the present time, we will ask that you excuse yourself from our facility.
- You will check in at the front desk upon your arrival.
- A series of questions will be asked:
- Do you have any of these symptoms (listed above)
- Have you had an exposure to COVID – 19
- Have you traveled somewhere
- We will be paying with cash transactions only.
- You will be asked to sit with your family in a designated area in the bleacher seating until pool becomes open.
- Face masks are recommended.
- Locker rooms will be closed along with showers and drinking fountains, so please arrive with your suit on.
- Restrooms will remain open but under a time limit.
- Please practice social distancing from other families using our facility as well
- A series of questions will be asked:
- By choosing to enter our facility, you are fully aware of the dangers of contracting COVID – 19.
Open Swim Time
- Our facility will run at 50% bather load allowing only 60 people max in our facility at one time.This will allow for proper social distancing while enjoying time with your family in the pool.
- 48 people in the lap pool
- 12 people in the dive well
- Restrooms will remain open, but there will be a time limit.
- Lifeguards and an Emergency response team will be on duty to ensure your safety.
- Once out of the pool it is recommended that you wear a face covering.
- No equipment will be used from our facility, however, you are welcome to bring your own.
- For example: kickboard, fins, goggles, or pull bouy
Departure
- Once you exit the pool, it is recommended to maintain 6 feet of social distancing from others, place face coverings on, and exit our facility.
- Locker rooms and showers are closed – no changing will take place here
- You will be held responsible for washing your hands as well as any objects that you brought with you to our facility.
- Once facility is clear,lifeguards and custodians will do a deep clean.
Daily Self-Assessment
Please do the following at home before you come:
Do you have:
- Loss of smell or taste, or a change in taste
- Headache
- Fever (or fever-like symptoms) – alternating chills or sweating
- Cough
- Trouble breathing or shortness of breath
- Chills or repeated shaking
- Muscle aches
- Sore throat
- Diarrhea
Exposure to COVID – 19
- Have you been within 6 feet for 10 minutes or more of someone that has been tested or is scheduled to be tested for COVID – 19?
- Have you been in direct contact with the secretions (i.e. fluids from a sneeze or a cough) of someone that has been tested or is scheduled to be tested for
COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
Travel
- Have you traveled to any country, state, or location where COVID-19 has sustained widespread community transmission in the past 14 days?
