Motorcyclist Killed In Monday Night Crash Southwest Of Nappanee

NAPPANEE – A Rochester man died Monday night when his motorcycle crashed into the side of a minivan southwest of Nappanee.
The accident happened at about 6 p.m. on CR 1100W near CR 1200N, according to Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.
Bryce L. Hershberger, 26, died at the scene.
Kathryn L. Miller, 69 years old, of Osceola, was traveling north in a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country minivan on 1100W and Hershberger was traveling in the opposite direction when Miller attempted to turn left into a private drive, the news release said.
Hershberger’s Yamaha motorcycle slammed into the passenger side of the minivan.
Miller was not injured and this collision remains under investigation.
Agencies responding to the accident included the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Nappanee Police Department, Nappanee Fire Department, Nappanee Emergency Medical Service, Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office and the Parkview Samaritan Air Ambulance.
