Shondell Bringing Knowledge To Warsaw Camp
Press Release
WARSAW – One of the winningest coaches in the sport of volleyball is bringing his expertise to Warsaw in July.
The Steve Shondell Hall of Fame Perfect Skills Camp is coming to Warsaw Community High School on July 29-30, led by the legendary coach Steve Shondell himself. Geared for incoming Warsaw middle or high school students, Shondell will oversee the camp as the winningest volleyball coach in Indiana history, having won over 1,200 matches in his career.
The camp’s foundation is teaching fundamentals of passing, hitting and blocking through the vision of Shondell, who has won 21 state championships and won over a dozen state and national coach of the year awards. His foundation of Munciana Volleyball Club in Muncie has evolved into one of the top club programs in the country.
The camp will run from 9:30-noon and 1:30-4 p.m. both days and costs $50 per player, per day. Payment must be made in cash and registration is done at the door each day. All sessions will take place in Warsaw Community High School’s Tiger Den and the Tiger Den upper decks.
