Peggy D. Felkner, a resident of Largo, Fla., died in in the care of Suncoast Hospice Care Center North Pinellas on June 9, 2020. She was 81.
Peggy was born on June 26, 1938, in Stearns, Ky. She moved to Goshen, where she raised a family of five children and worked in local businesses. On her marriage in 1976 to Richard Felkner, she moved to Milford. During retirement, she and Richard traveled the United States in their RV and eventually settled in Fort Myers Beach, Fla.
Peggy is survived by her daughters Theresa Guy of Lexington, S.C.; Veronica Duplika of Augusta, Mo.; Valerie Hendricks of Seminole, Fla; ten grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, her daughter Patricia Andresen and her son Philip Hendricks.
Peggy will be remembered by her family and friends for her enjoyment of socializing and her sense of humor. Her grandchildren remember the fun that she would create for them with games and play during visits to her Indiana home.
Her ashes will be scattered offshore in Estero Bay in the same area as her beloved husband and near the beaches that they enjoyed together.
