Warsaw Man Arrested For Allegedly Throwing Chair at Pregnant Woman

WARSAW – A Warsaw man has been charged for hitting his pregnant ex-girlfriend with a chair.
Eduardo David Llamas, Jr., 18, 913 Carrington Blvd., Warsaw, was booked for domestic battery to a pregnant woman in the presence of a child. A level 5 felony.
On May 16, officers were dispatched to the residence of Llamas in regards to domestic battery. Upon arriving, police spoke with a pregnant woman who said she had been battered by Llamas, her ex-boyfriend. She told police that she is pregnant, and that Llamas was aware of the circumstances.
The woman told police she went to the residence to pick up a dog when a verbal altercation began. She gathered the dog and her belongings and attempted to leave when Llamas threw something at her back, causing pain. Officers noticed the discoloration on her back.
The object that hit her was a chair that Llamas threw. The woman provided police with messages between the two that indicate that this was true. Llamas then admitted to doing so after he contacted the police officer involved.
Eduardo David Llamas, Jr. was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on June 4. With a bond of $2,500 surety and cash.
