Ralph E. Killworth, Sr.
Ralph E. Killworth, Sr., Churubusco, passed away on June 5, 2020, at his home.
He was born in Whitley County, not far from his current home, on Dec. 21, 1929, to the late Newton and Flossie Katherine (Fulk) Killworth. He spent his formative years in Churubusco, graduating from Churubusco High School in 1948.
He was married to Myrna Jones in Sumpter, S.C., on March 18, 1952. She preceded him in death on Aug. 18, 1997.
He retired from Dana Corp, Fort Wayne, after more than 30 years. His real passion was farming his family’s farm in Whitley County.
In addition to farming, he enjoyed gardening and roller skating.
He is survived by his four children: Ralph E. Killworth, Jr., Nathan (Melanie) Killworth, Pamela (Chris) Rosswurm and Linda (Tim) Lang; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Albert and Earl Killworth; and two sisters: Helen Yant and Lenora Hoffman.
Private service will be held with a burial in the Eel River Cemetery.
