Anna Linn
Anna Linn, a longtime resident of Warsaw, passed away just after 11 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2020, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw. Nearing her 100th birthday, she was 99 years old.
She was born on Aug. 17, 1920, in Mishawaka. She was the daughter of Edmond Dosmann and Rosella (Sellers) Dosmann and attended Mishawaka High School. She would eventually make her home in Warsaw after marrying Clyde Linn on Sept. 14, 1939. She would share nearly 50 years with Clyde before his 1986 passing.
She was a kind, caring person and a hard worker. She was a longtime member of the Thrifty-Fifty Home Ec. Club, was very active with the Kosciusko County Election Board and was a longtime attendee of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, where she was also very active with church events. She was a skilled seamstress who enjoyed sewing, crochet and embroidery. Most of all, she enjoyed time spent with her family, especially holidays and family meals.
Those who survive with memories to cherish include her daughter: Mary (husband, Ron) Gates, Warsaw; and grandson: Kevin (wife, Regina) Gates, Warsaw. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Clyde Linn, Anna was preceded in passing by her parents and her brother: Fritz Dosmann.
Friends may join family for a time of visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw. Beginning at 11 a.m., family friend Pastor Bryan Koorey will officiate Anna’s funeral ceremony. Burial will follow in Warsaw’s Oakwood Cemetery where Anna will be laid to rest with Clyde.
