Miner Reflects
Dear Editor,
As the dust settles following this truly unusual campaign season, I wanted to write this letter to thank the county for the confidence that it has placed in me and also to extend sincere well wishes to the other candidates who ran for the Superior 3 Judgeship.
Kosciusko County has a long tradition of outstanding candidates who are eager to serve our community. As a result, our voters are routinely confronted with the difficult task of choosing the best candidate among a field of really great contenders. The 2020 Primary was no exception to this rule. And, to my fellow candidates for Superior 3 – keep your heads up! We never know what lies ahead and I wish each of you all the best.
I also wanted to express my heartfelt appreciation to my supporters. You are the unsung heroes of politics! It is the rare candidate who gets very far without an army of supporters who put out signs, who encourage friends and neighbors to vote, and who offer encouragement when the going gets tough. I know that I could not have done it without you. And, of course, I would be remiss if I did not publically thank my family, with particular thanks to my wife of over 20 years, Rachel, who has been an incredible and tireless source of support and encouragement throughout the entire campaign.
I am humbled and honored by all of the support that I have received and I am very excited to represent the Kosciusko County Republican Party in the General Election this November for the Superior Court No. 3 judgeship. Thank you!
