Turkey Creek Sewer District Holding Public Hearing On Loan Program
News Release
CROMWELL — Turkey Creek Regional Sewer District will hold a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 15, at its district office, 4852 N. 1200W, Cromwell. Social distancing guidelines will be followed.
The public hearing will be for a preliminary engineering report to obtain assistance from the wastewater state revolving fund loan program.
Officials from Jones 7 Henry Engineers, consultants, will present the recommended wastewater project, which includes installation of a gravity sewer collection system to serve what is known as the east-shore/north-shore area, which is more fully described in the PER. The project will be funded through the WWSRF loan program.
A copy of the PER is available for public viewing on the district’s website and will remain posted through June 22. Due to the COVID-19 public health emergency, the district requests the plans to be viewed on its website and not at the office. Should a person need assistance, contact the district and arrangements will be made to view the plans.
Written comments regarding this project will be accepted through June 22 and should be sent to [email protected] or hand-delivered to the district office. Due to the public health emergency, email or drop any comments in the mail slot at the district’s office.
There will be an opportunity for questions and comments from the public during this hearing. Participation is welcomed.
