Blackburn Run Set For Virtual Start

WARSAW – The 11th annual Blackburn Run 4 Others has chosen to take place, but will be virtual this year. The pandemic has swayed the race to to take on the new format, which is set to take place from June 10-20.
“i thought about canceling this year,” said race director Doug Koontz. “But Water for Good’s mission to provide clean water to the Central African Republic to fight diseases like coronavirus is too important.”
Water for Good is a non-profit based in Warsaw working to solve the water crisis in the Central African Republic. They drill new wells, rehab and maintain existing wells. The proceeds from this year’s races will go towards co-funding new wells.
Everyone who signs up will receive a free T-shirt and custom window decal. The run can be done from anywhere, just plug in your time and information between next Wednesday, June 10, and Saturday, June 20.
